Sanjoy Bhattacharyya

Sanjoy Bhattacharyya has a diverse work experience in the finance sector, with positions at various hotels and hospitality companies. Sanjoy most recently served as the Vice President of Finance at Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they were the Financial Controller - Hospitality at Virtuous Retail from March 2020 to July 2022. Sanjoy also held leadership roles including Group Head-Finance at Rosetta Management & Lifestyle Services from May 2018 to September 2019 and Vice President-Finance at bloom Hotel Group from December 2016 to April 2018. Sanjoy's notable experience includes serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Viceroy Bangalore Hotels Private Limited from April 2012 to May 2015, where they managed the overall finance function and implemented control measures. Sanjoy Bhattacharyya began their education at St. Xavier's College from 1985 to 1988, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Accounting and Finance. After completing their undergraduate studies, they joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) from 1989 to 1994. During this time, they obtained a degree in Chartered Accountancy, which further enhanced their knowledge in the field of Accounting and Finance.
