Melanie Salman

Melanie Salman currently serves as the Principal Strategic Program Manager at Docker, Inc., beginning in December 2023, focusing on bringing Testcontainers to market through go-to-market strategies and AI community building initiatives. Prior roles include Director of Marketing and Operations at AtomicJar, Inc. since October 2022, and Director of Corporate Events & Partner Marketing at Kong Inc., where contributions included establishing a comprehensive events portfolio. Past experience encompasses leadership in corporate events strategy at SignalFx, as well as managing corporate events at PagerDuty. Melanie began a freelance marketing consultancy in 2006, specializing in demand generation programs for the IT and DevOps sectors. Educational credentials include a BA in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by training at the BATS Improv Center for Improvisational Theatre.
