Role

The Partnerships Associate (Senior Account Executive) is a critical part of Atomic’s growth at our current stage. The focus is executing mid-market and enterprise sales: deal management from thorough discovery & needs analysis, through negotiation and closure. This role will help to tweak our existing sales process, up-level our forecasting, be a key voice in our sales strategy, and create a culture of excellence, hunger, and excitement for the sales organization.

Once here you will:

  • You will be the single owner of a core segment of our go-to-market strategy and execution, working with the team to generate and close deals.
  • You will prospect into mid-market and enterprise firms in the financial services space: account mapping, industry research, networking, outreach, and more.
  • You will be a project manager for each one of your deals – doing planning, needs analysis, capability-to-solution alignment mapping, term negotiation and pricing proposals, and hand-holding prospects through a high-impact sales cycle to signature.
  • You will be responsible for a portion of our new business revenue & logo acquisition, alongside your teammates.
  • You will apply strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and address pipeline bottlenecks and business challenges, while optimizing operations and driving continuous improvement.
  • Engage in high-level business operations, contributing to overall company strategy and decision-making processes.
  • You will qualify at every stage of the sales funnel, helping to shape and improve our qualification standards.
  • You will work cross-functionally with many functional areas to coordinate resources, gather input, and execute effectively on your deals.
  • You will help the team maintain and improve our culture of excellence and accountability, and help us further Atomic’s mission as a company: to make wealth building accessible to every single human being.

Qualifications

  • A track record of 5+ years in quota-carrying sales, ideally within the fintech space, with demonstrated ability to close qualified opportunities and meet or exceed quota.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and attitude: to unblock any obstacle autonomously, know how to ask for help when you need it, to figure things out through critical thinking, and an exceptional ability to just get things done without excuses.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute effectively, with a knack for problem-solving and optimizing business processes.
  • A driven individual who thrives on coupling high-quality with high-volume outreach and is not deterred by rejection. Eager to pick up the phone and call first to get the answer you need.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills, with the ability to articulate the company’s product and service offerings persuasively
  • Superior operational and organizational, capable of managing complex tasks and workflows.
  • Exceptional at using CRM (Salesforce) properly to track interactions, manage relationships, and effectively report on deals and sales processes end-to-end.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and leverage diverse networks, identifying quality prospects that align with the company’s go-to-market strategy.
  • A people person who can build strong relationships and navigate complex interpersonal dynamics with high emotional intelligence (EQ).
