Kirk Johnson has over 29 years of work experience in human resources. Kirk is currently the Vice President of Human Resources/Risk Management at Atwoods Ranch & Home, a farm, ranch, and home retailer with over 66 stores and two distribution centers in five states. Kirk Johnson PHR, SHRM-CP has a background in both law and human resources. Kirk attended Southern Nazarene University from 1992 to 1995 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Resources. In 2000, Kirk enrolled in the Oklahoma City University School of Law where they studied law for a year. Although they did not attain a degree in law, this experience likely provided him with valuable legal knowledge and skills.

In terms of certifications, Kirk obtained the PHR, SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in December 2002. This indicates their expertise and proficiency in the field of human resources. Additionally, they received a certification from the Human Resources Research Institute at the Professional Human Resources institution in July 2015.
