Laura Stevens

Laura Stevens currently serves as the Honors College Director at Auburn University since July 2024. Prior to this role, Laura was the Chapman Professor of English at the University of Tulsa from August 2020 to July 2024. Throughout an extensive career at the University of Tulsa from 1998 to 2024, Laura held various positions including Primary Co-Investigator and Chair of the Department of English and Creative Writing, as well as serving as an Associate Professor of English. Laura also contributed as an Editor for Tulsa Studies in Women's Literature from 2005 to August 2016. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and an MA in English from the University of Michigan (1992-1998) and a BA in Philosophy from Villanova University (1987-1991).
