Victoria Williamson serves as Co-founder and Chief Scientist at Audicin since June 2022, having previously worked as a Freelance Writer at Altaura and a Senior Research Scientist at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. With a robust background in music psychology, Victoria has held various academic positions, including Lecturer and Vice Chancellor's Fellow at the University of Sheffield, where significant research focused on music's impact on health and wellbeing, musical experiences in dementia care, and anxiety among musicians. Past roles include Honorary Research Associate at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, facilitating research on music's effects in the MRI environment, and positions as a Visiting Professor of Performance Science and a Freelance Blogger. Victoria holds a PhD in Psychology of Music from the University of York, alongside degrees from The University of Sheffield and Goldsmiths, University of London.
