Scott Simmons, CMRP has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Scott most recently worked at Augury as a Reliability Success Manager, where they played a key role in driving customer growth and retention by digitally transforming global enterprise organizations to achieve machine health. Prior to that, they worked at AstraZeneca as a Senior Engineer - Reliability, where they contributed to reliability improvement projects and maintenance optimization efforts. Before that, they had a significant tenure at DuPont, where they held multiple roles, including Reliability & Equipment Engineering Consultant and Reliability & Equipment Engineer. During their time at DuPont, they were responsible for implementing predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, improving reliability metrics, and creating standard practices for lubrication and predictive maintenance. Scott also worked at John Crane as a Customer Reliability Engineer and Mechanical Engineer, where they provided technical expertise, supported projects, and conducted equipment surveys for customers. Their early career began at West Virginia University, where they worked as a Residential Assistant. Scott Simmons, CMRP has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University, which was obtained from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications related to their field. These include the CMRP certification from SMRP in September 2015, the Certified Machinery Lubrication Analyst - Level II certification from the International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML) in December 2018, the Certified Airborne Ultrasound - Level II certification from UE SYSTEMS in March 2019, the Certified Vibration Analyst - Category III certification from Technical Associates of Charlotte in June 2018, and the Certified Thermographer - Category II certification from the Infrared Training Center in January 2019.
