Terence Chan

Terence Chan has a diverse work experience with a focus on sales and business development in the technology and industrial sectors. Terence is currently working as a Regional Sales Director at Auk Industries, an Industrial IoT company. At Auk Industries, Terence develops and implements sales strategies to promote the company's plug-and-play solutions for real-time monitoring and data analytics in manufacturing.

Prior to their current role, Terence worked at Geek+ as a Senior Sales Manager, overseeing logistics and material handling markets in Southeast Asia. Terence played a key role in providing consultation and proposing automation solutions for 3PL accounts, facilitating their Industry 4.0 transformation projects. Terence also managed the entire sales process, from hunting new business to after-sales engagements.

Before their role at Geek+, Terence gained experience at PBA Group - Robotics & Automation as a Business Development and Marketing Manager. Terence was responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and managing business development activities. Terence also worked as a Technology Incubation Manager at the same company, where they led innovation projects and supported the commercialization of new technologies.

Terence has also held positions at the Singapore Space and Technology Association, Enterprise Singapore, ABB, Sembcorp Marine Ltd, and Alpha Consulting Engineers Pte Ltd. In these roles, they gained experience in project management, investment analysis, and engineering.

Terence Chan's education history begins with their O Level studies at River Valley High School from 2001 to 2004. Terence then attended Anglo-Chinese Junior College from 2005 to 2006, completing their A Level in the Science Stream.

In 2009, Terence enrolled at the National University of Singapore and pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering, which they completed in 2013. During this period, from 2011 to 2013, they also specialized in Offshore Oil & Gas Technology.

Later, in 2012, Terence participated in a Student Exchange Program at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, focusing on Mechanical Engineering.

Terence's educational journey continued with their Master of Science (MS) in Management of Technology at the National University of Singapore from 2017 to 2019.
