Ankur Desai

Ankur Desai is a seasoned professional in analytical development with extensive experience across multiple biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. Currently serving as Vice President of Analytical Development at Aura Biosciences, Ankur's previous roles include Executive Director at Verve Therapeutics, where leadership of a 14-member team focused on method development for RNA and lipid characterization occurred. Ankur's tenure at Sarepta Therapeutics as Senior Director involved structuring the Analytical Development operations to align with corporate objectives and supporting drug characterization from early clinical stages to registration. Earlier experiences include significant roles at the University of Michigan and Central Michigan University, contributing to various research projects and laboratory management. Ankur holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from both Central Michigan University and South Gujarat University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from South Gujarat University.
