Damien Atkins

Damien Atkins is the Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel at Aura. Atkins has over two decades of experience as a lawyer and corporate executive.

Atkins began their career at WilmerHale, where they worked as a senior counsel from May 2021 to August 2021. Damien then joined The Hershey Company as their SVP, General Counsel and Secretary in August 2018, where they served until January 2021. In May 2015, Atkins became the General Counsel at Panasonic USA, where they were responsible for leading a team of over 70 attorneys in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates. Atkins left Panasonic in August 2018 to join GridPoint as their Acting General Counsel / Deputy General Counsel. However, they left GridPoint after just four months to join AOL as their SVP, Deputy General Counsel (Corporate), Assistant Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer in January 2009. Atkins remained with AOL until April 2015.

Damien Atkins earned a B.A. in Theirtory from Stanford University, and then went on to earn a J.D. in Law from New York University School of Law.

Damien Atkins reports to Hari Ravichandran, Founder & CEO. They work with Zulfikar Ramzan - Chief Scientist & CEO, Aura Labs, Howard Clabo - Chief Communications Officer, and Kristin Covi - CMO.
