Zulfikar Ramzan

Dr. Zulfikar Ramzan is the Chief Scientist & CEO of Aura Labs, a cutting-edge data science company that specializes in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Zulfikar is also the former Chief Product and Technology Officer of NetWitness, an RSA Business.

Dr. Ramzan has over fifteen years of experience in the field of information security, big data, and cloud computing. Zulfikar has held various technical and leadership positions at startups and Fortune 500 companies such as Elastica (acquired by Blue Coat) and NetWitness.

Under their leadership, Elastica was named a finalist for Info Security's Global Excellence Awards "Innovation in Cloud Security" and "Startup of the Year." The company was also recognized by The Channel Company’s CRN 100 Coolest Cloud Computing Vendors of 2015 list, the Cloud Awards Program, SC Magazine, AlwaysOn, Network World, and more.

At Aura Labs, Dr. Ramzan is using their expertise in data science to develop innovative solutions that will help organizations harness the power of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Zulfikar Ramzan received their PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Zulfikar also holds a BA in Computer Science and Mathematics from Cornell University.

They are on a team with Kelly Merryman - President & COO, Alison Dillon - Chief Strategy Officer & Chief of Staff to the CEO, and Kristin Covi - CMO. Zulfikar Ramzan reports to Hari Ravichandran, Founder & CEO.
