About the Team

We have multiple openings for Senior Software Engineers.  Each engineer works within a pod-style team including: Engineers, Engineering Manager, Product Manager, Product Designer, and QA Engineers. These teams are blended full stack groups that work as an agile team, across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. 

About the Role

We are hiring Senior Software Engineers across the stack (frontend, backend, and fullstack)  who are comfortable taking control and owning complex projects while collaborating with other members of the team. Every engineer plays a vital role in key feature rollouts and contributes to the creation and development of cutting-edge technology in the solar industry.

Your Impact

  • Build new functionality and features for our software platform
  • Build integrations with other players in the solar industry
  • Build new functionality for our industry-leading solar design platform
  • Spearhead the development of new greenfield products
  • Take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by your team, including taking part in an on-call rotation

What You Bring

  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
  • Proficiency with Ruby on Rails and React with JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Excellent engineering skills and strong computer science fundamentals
  • Excellent cross-functional teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to perform and thrive in a remote environment at a fast-growing company
  • Contributions to large software projects as a member of a broader team
