Marcelo Garrido has over 15 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, and warehousing. Marcelo has worked for various companies, including Ausenco, Terminales Portuarios Euroandinos, Bechtel Mining & Metals, SSK - Una Empresa Sigdo Koppers, ABB, EMPRESA NACIONAL DE AERONÁUTICA DE CHILE, and LAN Airlines. Marcelo's work experience includes roles such as Procurement Lead, Senior Procurement Specialist, Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator, Senior Purchasing Specialist, Logistic Buyer, and Technical Buyer. Marcelo has been responsible for managing purchasing processes, developing and implementing procurement procedures, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, expediting purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery times.

Marcelo Garrido has a diverse education history. In 2018, they pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering from UTEL Universidad, which they completed in 2021. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2008, Marcelo attended Universidad de Santiago de Chile, where they studied Mechanical Engineering.
