Ron Douglas

Ron Douglas has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Ron has held various executive and managerial positions in different companies. Ron'smost recent role was as Executive Director/Consultant at VHM Limited, starting in October 2023. Prior to that, they served as Executive VP Global Project Delivery at Ausenco from October 2015. Ron also held the position of Global Head of Projects and Technology at Orica from October 2012 to September 2015. Before that, they worked as EGM Projects and Studies at Newcrest Mining Limited from April 2007 to November 2012. Ron also has experience as a CEO at Australian Solomon Gold Limited and as a Managing Director at Anglesey Aluminium Metal Limited. Ron worked as GM Engineering and Construction at Riotinto, where they were responsible for the design and delivery of significant projects. Ron's earlier roles include Manager Projects and Engineering at WMC Resources, Commercial Manager and Project Manager at Minproc Engineers Ltd, and Manager Thailand at McConnell Dowell.
