Miguel Romano

Miguel Romano currently serves as the President of Foundations for Ascension Texas, overseeing multiple foundation initiatives including the Dell Children's Foundation and Seton Fund since June 2017. In addition to this role, Miguel has been a substitute teacher for the Austin Independent School District since March 2023. Previous positions include Senior Business Development and Lending Officer at American Bank, N.A. from July 2013 to May 2017, and President of the Associated Republicans of Texas from March 2011 to June 2013. Additional experience encompasses leadership roles in public service and political campaigns, including National Budget Director for the John McCain 2008 Presidential Campaign, Business Liaison Director at the Inter American Development Bank, and various advisory positions within the U.S. federal government. Miguel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication from Florida State University and two Master's degrees in International Business from the University of Florida and Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
