Samantha Yorke

Samantha Yorke is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in regulatory strategy and public policy. Currently serving as an Authority Member at the Australian Communications and Media Authority, Samantha leads Telecommunications and Consumer matters. In addition to this role, Samantha holds positions as a Non Executive Director at the Black Dog Institute and an Expert Advisory Board Member at the Young & Resilient Research Centre. Previously, Samantha directed public policy and government relations for Google in Australia, advocating for critical issues such as privacy and cybersecurity while managing engagement with government and industry. Other advisory roles include contributions to the Alliance for Journalists' Freedom and the ANROWS Technology Facilitated Abuse Research Project. Samantha's educational background includes degrees from Macquarie University, Harvard Law School, and legal training at the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators and the College of Law in London.
