Katherine van Gurp

Katherine Van Gurp is an experienced executive in law enforcement and public safety, currently serving as the Acting Chief Operating Officer and National Manager for Strategy & Performance at the Australian Federal Police since February 2020. Katherine also acts as an Independent Advisor on the AFP Strategy & Performance Board. Prior to this role, Katherine was the Chief Executive Officer of the Australia New Zealand Policing Advisory Agency from January 2017 to August 2021 and served as Executive Director at Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services from August 2011 to January 2017. Katherine's career began at the Australian Federal Police, where duties included Coordinator and Senior Policy Officer from March 2004 to August 2011.
