Peter Stapleton

Peter Stapleton has extensive experience in the field of performing arts and music education. Peter most recently served as the Head of Performing Arts at the Australian International School Hong Kong, starting in January 2019. Prior to that, they were a Music Teacher at the same school from January 2014. Peter also held the position of Director of Music at King's School Manila from August 2012 to December 2013, and at the British School Manila from August 2006 to July 2012. Peter began their career as a Director of Music at Yew Chung Educational Foundation in August 2000 and remained in that role until July 2006.

From 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Psychology for Musicians at The University of Sheffield.

Between 1994 and 1995, they attended Trinity College of Music, London, where they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Music Performance with a focus on Organ and Harpsichord.

From 1989 to 1994, they studied at The University of Huddersfield and completed a Graduate Diploma in Music Performance, General.

In the years 1986 to 1988, they obtained a Foundation diploma in music from Salford College of Technology, with a specific focus on Music History, Literature, and Theory.

In addition to their academic degrees, Peter Stapleton also received certification in "The Place of Music in 21st Century Education" from Coursera Course Certificates in January 2017.
