Jonathan Tay

Jonathan Tay is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in quantitative research, investment strategy, and portfolio management. Currently a Senior Portfolio Manager at AustralianSuper since January 2015, Jonathan oversees a substantial equity portfolio exceeding A$10 billion, applying machine learning techniques for portfolio construction and risk management. Previous roles include Senior Quantitative Researcher at The Portland House Group and Vice President at GIC, where Jonathan contributed to private equity portfolio strategy and risk assessment. Jonathan holds advanced degrees in Computer Science (Machine Learning) from Georgia Institute of Technology and Financial Engineering from Columbia University, complemented by a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
