Joaquin Salcedo has held various roles in the technology and security industries since 2006. Joaquin began their professional career as a Co-Founder of Aggies United at Texas A&M University in 2006. Joaquin then worked as an Analyst for the Department of International Affairs at the Organization of American States from 2008-2011, where they helped draft and organize the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the African Union and the OAS, increased OAS outreach, and developed inter-institutional workshops. In 2011, they were a Project Developer for the Summits of Americas Secretariat at OAS. From 2010-2012, they worked at Marcom Comunicacion Integral and Neustar, Inc. as an Associate Account Manager and Global Enterprise Account Executive, respectively. From 2015-2017, they were a Strategic Business Analyst, Corporate Strategy & Strategic Marketing and Senior Sales Representative at Forcepoint, where they sold a solution bridging the gap between defense-grade and enterprise cybersecurity. Finally, from 2017-2020 they were a Regional Sales Manager at Polarity and a Commercial Sales Manager at Authentic8, where they managed the Silo for Research Platform, enabled CTI analysts, Fraud, Trust & Safety, ORC/Counterfeit, and other OSINT investigators with secure access to the Open, Deep, and Dark Web, and provided managed attribution as a service and automated intel collection.

Joaquin Salcedo obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Texas A&M University. Joaquin also has several certifications, including an Intro to Cyber Workshop from Cover6 Solutions in 2019, a SOC Analyst Prep Workshop from Cover6 Solutions in 2018, The New Solution Selling - 3 month Sales Training Workshop from SOLUTION SELLING in 2016, IT Security Sales Training from Sandler Training in 2015, and IT Security Sales Training from Sandler Training in 2012.
