Joel Williams

Joel Williams has extensive experience in operations and support, currently serving as the Director of Operations for Automattic for Agencies since March 2014. Prior roles at Automattic include Head of Support, Division Wrangler, Cycle Planning Lead, Support Team Lead, and Happiness Engineer for both WordPress.com and WooCommerce.com. Previously, Joel co-founded Life Goggles and founded BlogTechGuy.com, offering technical blog support. Earlier career positions include Network and Knowledge Manager and Location Planning Manager at Post Office Ltd, as well as consulting roles at Ford Motor Company and R L Polk. Joel holds a BA in Geography and Management Studies from the University of Leeds.
