Shaji Thomas

Shaji Thomas has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Shaji is currently working as a Senior Manager at Autonomic, a Ford subsidiary, where they are responsible for creating roadmaps for TMC (Transportation Mobility Cloud) for Ford Connected vehicles. Shaji also manages relationships with external clients and vendors like Google, AWS, and Ford, and has successfully migrated TMC from AWS to GCP.

Prior to their current role, Shaji was a co-founder and Senior Technical Advisor at CaptureMore, where they provided digital solutions for the automotive and healthcare industries using QR and RFID technology. Shaji also advised on technical aspects of cloud architecture and helped determine the future roadmap for CaptureMore.

Shaji also worked at Chrysler Information Systems Support as a Systems Engineer and at CSC as a Support Analyst, where they gained experience in client support and developing AD HOC projects.

Shaji Thomas completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Science at Wayne State University from 1990 to 1994. Shaji then pursued a Master's of Science degree in Information Systems at Lawrence Technological University from 1998 to 2001.

In October 2019, they obtained the AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials (Second Edition) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In June 2018, they obtained the Google Cloud: Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling, and Automation certification, Google Cloud: Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services certification, and the Google Cloud: Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation certification, all from Coursera.

Shaji has also obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in May 2020.
