Michael Robbins

Chief Advocacy Officer at AUVSI

Michael Robbins is Chief Advocacy Officer at AUVSI where he leads all advocacy and strategic communication initiatives. Michael is a proven strategist with executive-level management experience with unique crossover work in government, labor, communications, and corporate leadership.

In 2015, he co-founded a business consulting firm, Intrepid, and serves as its Chief Operating Officer. Prior to starting Intrepid, Michael served as Managing Director of Government and Public Affairs at the Air Line Pilot Association, International (ALPA) and delivered significant results for the association on policy, media, safety, and branding goals.

Michael spent a decade in the office of the late Congressman John Dingell (Michigan), where he served as the Chief of Staff. Michael serves on the board of the Greater Washington Aviation Open and the National Advanced Mobility Consortium. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree from Georgetown University and is currently a commissioned officer in the United States Navy (Reserve).
