Nichol MacDonald

Nichol MacDonald is an accomplished finance and compliance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Compliance Services at Avalara since October 2015, Nichol oversees tax automation and compliance solutions for businesses. Prior to this, Nichol was a Partner at Blackwell Boyd & Associates, focusing on a diverse range of clients. Nichol spent over a decade at Symantec as Director of Sales Strategy and Operations, where significant contributions were made in optimizing sales and marketing practices, especially during the Symantec/Veritas merger. Earlier career experience includes serving as Director of Finance & Administration at Ceon Corporation, managing global finance and HR teams. Nichol holds a Master's Degree in Finance from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Tampa.
