About the role We're seeking a Senior Consultant to join our fast-growing commercial due diligence service area. Avalere Health provides regulatory, reimbursement and commercial due diligence to a range of healthcare organizations and investors.

The Senior Consultant, Commercial Due Diligence will be responsible for delivering commercial due diligence projects and expanding our customer base across UK and Europe.  

About Avalere Health Consulting  Avalere Health Consulting leads strategic engagements with clients and is comprised of three main areas; Advisory, Expert Partnerships, and Training. The Advisory team focuses on two main pillars: 

  1. Corporate strategy, portfolio planning, business development, commercial diligence, new product planning 
  2. Launch strategy, go-to-market, customer engagement, organizational transformation 

Our commercial due diligence offer is delivered jointly by team members in Consulting and Policy, Access, Value & Evidence (PAVE), who also offer a wider range of regulatory and reimbursement due diligence. The PAVE team also offer services across policy, market access, pricing & reimbursement and HEOR.  

What you'll do

  • Manage commercial due diligence projects with cross-practice teams on behalf of private equity and corporate clients
  • Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research to support diligence projects across a range of healthcare issues and opportunities
  • Prepare written materials identifying the key diligence issues and present these conclusions and recommendations to clients
  • Manage relationships with new and existing clients
  • Expand our London and European customer base, particularly in private equity
  • Ensure exceptional delivery of projects that meet client needs and company profitability and efficiency goals
  • Provide coaching and support to other members of the delivery team to ensure high standards across projects
  • Establish efficient and profitable ways of working across Consulting and other teams within Avalere Health
  • Work with our Senior Operations Director to ensure excellent ways of working, pricing, commercial and project management
  • Risk management across clients, our team and finances

About you

  • Strong understanding of healthcare sector, including biopharma, devices, diagnostics, digital health and health services
  • 5-6 years of relevant work experience in healthcare consulting, private equity or investment banking
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research experience, including data analytics
  • Strong network in London/Europe related to healthcare investor companies
  • Ability to quickly understand and articulate complex concepts and information
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to take ownership of challenging workstreams and situations, delivering exceptional results
