About the role

The purpose of this role is to:

·       Own invoicing, collections, project analysis and audit for multiple businesses. ·       Assist with training of junior team members. ·       Generate monthly reports and support ad-hoc requests.

What you'll do

  • Set up projects, rates, load project budgets and maintain project data in project costing and invoicing system.
  • Work with PMO team to ensure timely invoice generation and delivery as per the contracted terms.
  • Download bank statements and apply cash to invoices.
  • Review outstanding invoices and work with project leads and clients to collect cash.
  • Review executed contracts and change orders to validate accrued and deferred balances for ongoing and closed projects.
  • Assist PMO group in evaluating profitability of projects by calculating project gross margins.
  • Implement standardized processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy and consistency.
  • Meet with project managers to assess progress of projects and discuss any invoicing changes due to scope changes.
  • Support system implementation and process changes.
  • Works with various stakeholders to identify issues and implement resolution.
  • Train junior staff members.
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests.

Management Accounting

  • Support Accounting Operations in completing month end close activities and journal posting as assigned.
  • Analysis and review of intercompany transactions and balances.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Management or equivalent work experience.
  • 4-6 years of Project Analyst experience in pharmaceutical, CRO, or Consulting business.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Requires exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential and sensitive data is required.
  • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Understands end to end processes, key outputs, and understands stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Support the implementation of continuous improvement and performance excellence activities.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
