Payal Bhatia

Payal Bhatia has extensive work experience in the finance and consulting sectors. Payal started their career as an Associate Consultant at Ernst & Young Pvt. Ltd. in 2009 and later became a Consultant in the Risk Advisory Services team. In this role, they worked with Real Estate and Government sector clients, undertaking Internal Audit and Risk Assessment assignments for projects funded by international funding agencies. Payal joined AVANA Capital in 2012 as a Senior Financial Analyst/Underwriter, specializing in underwriting and closing SBA and Construction Loans in the hospitality and construction industries. Payal recently transitioned to the role of Senior VP - Real Estate Credit, where they focus on maintaining quality control in lending practices and building client relationships.

Payal Bhatia completed their education in the field of finance. Payal obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Payal then pursued a Masters in Finance with a focus on International Finance and Financial Institutions at the University of Glasgow from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Payal also obtained a certification in CCIM from the CCIM Institute in April 2017.
