Karin Nordqvist

Karin Nordqvist is an experienced engineering manager currently serving at Avanza Bank since April 2019, focusing on enhancing customer-friendly banking through leadership in the Trading and Platform Areas. Previously, Karin held the position of R&D Manager Mobile at Profoto from August 2015 to March 2019, where a successful mobile app was launched, and also served as Global Online Manager, spearheading a digital transformation and the creation of a new e-commerce platform. Between 2012 and August 2015, Karin was the Business Director at Apegroup, significantly contributing to the company's reputation in app development. Additional roles include Creator at Avalancher, Account Director at Ocean Observations, Nordic Product Manager at SIEMENS, and a Master's Thesis researcher at Ericsson. Karin holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Media Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and completed an exchange program in Discrete Mathematics and Decision Support Systems at UNSW.
