Alan Holmes

Alan Holmes is a highly experienced technical manager with a strong background in food manufacturing and compliance. Currently serving as Technical Manager at Avara Foods since July 2019, Alan previously held similar managerial roles at Tulip Ltd and Bernard Matthews. Alan has also served as a European Compliance Auditor at Aldi UK and gained technical support experience at 2 Sisters Food Group and 2sfg. Alan's career began with operations management positions at Universal Flexible Packaging Ltd and FA Gills, alongside a production manager role at Long Clawson Dairy. Alan holds a BA in Food Manufacturing Management from Lancaster University and a diploma in Butchery Skills from Shrewsbury College.
