Jonathan Shamo began their career at JetBlue Airways in 2000, where they held various roles such as General Manager Customer Experience Support, Manager Customer Support (JSC), Manager Communications (Customer Support), Supervisor Communications, Writer Communications, and Communication. In 2021, they joined Avelo Airlines as Director of Customer Support, where they launched the Customer Support department from the ground up, and previously lead efforts with external BPO for contact center.

Jonathan Shamo attended the University of Utah from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Mass Communication/Media Studies and a B.A. in Mass Communication.
