Patty Newby

Ranked among Wisconsin’s brightest young tech leaders to watch in Inno’s Under 25 List for 2020, Patty Newby joins Avicado early in her career as an analyst, using enterprise construction technologies to save the clients time, money and stress on their projects.

Prior to joining Avicado, Patty worked as a Project Manager at the startup platform Gener8tor, where she ran operations of its innovative COVID-19 program that provided web-based resources and financial relief to over 3,000 entrepreneurs and creatives in 25 client markets. Before that, she was an assistant underwriter at Burns & Wilcox Chicago, managing a $1.1 million revenue sales portfolio while interacting with over 50 client accounts each day.

Patty earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. In her free time, she volunteers with Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos USA, translating 40 letters per week between South American students and their U.S. sponsors.
