Chris Schmidt

Chris Schmidt currently serves as the Vice President of Finance at Avinity Senior Living, a position held since March 2019, after previously holding the same role from 2001 to 2016. In the interim, Chris worked as a Senior Consultant at CliftonLarsonAllen, providing accounting services to various clients. With extensive experience in finance, Chris has demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, and compliance, significantly contributing to successful financing and management of multiple acquisitions during tenure at Avinity. Prior to this, Chris was the Controller at Wipaire Inc., overseeing financial reporting and management of a finance team. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Northern Iowa and has completed partial studies toward an M.B.A. at the University of St. Thomas.
