José Manuel Pérez Pozo

José Manuel Pérez Pozo has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. José Manuel started their career at Universidad Politénica de Madrid, where they served as the Training and Activities Coordinator. In this role, they organized training courses and company visits for thousands of students. José also worked as an Assistant Researcher and completed an internship in an innovative educational program at the same university.

José then joined ETSIAE - UPM as a Lecturer, teaching courses on Aviation Safety and Accident and Incident Investigation. José Manuel also served as a Teaching Assistant for the Aviation Safety course.

José's experience in the safety domain continued at INECO, where they worked as a Safety Consultant for the Spanish ANSP. José Manuel was involved in safety promotion and the development of ATC TRM training materials.

After that, José transitioned to ENAIRE, where they worked as a Safety Consultant. Their main responsibilities included safety assessment and impact assessment for ATM changes.

José then joined skeyes, where they held multiple roles. José Manuel worked as a Business Process Developer, responsible for managing and optimizing data-related processes. José Manuel also served as a Product Manager and Product Owner, focusing on business requirements and process optimization. Additionally, they worked as an ATM/ATS Safety Expert, conducting safety assessments and interacting with stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Currently, José is employed at AVIOBOOK as a Product Owner.

José Manuel Pérez Pozo completed their education in a chronological sequence. In 2012, they began their studies at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Aeronáutica y del Espacio. José Manuel completed this degree in 2017.

In 2016, José Manuel Pérez Pozo engaged in further studies at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. During this time, they pursued a minor in Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation within the field of Aerospace, Aeronautics, and Astronautics Engineering. This program lasted for one year.

Additionally, in 2016, José Manuel Pérez Pozo participated in an Introduction to Safety Engineering course at KU Leuven.

In 2017, José Manuel Pérez Pozo began their Master of Science program at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. This program focused on the Safety of Air Transport Systems within the field of Aviation Safety and concluded in 2019.
