Jamie Schumacker

Jamie Schumacker has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Product/Platform Strategy and Client Engagement at Aviso Wealth, where they are responsible for driving product vision and roadmap for Qtrade Direct Investing and Qtrade Guided Portfolios. Prior to this, Jamie worked as a Professor at Sheridan College and as the Director of Halton Hills Public Library. They also had an extensive tenure at BlackBerry, holding roles such as Senior Program Manager and Solutions Consultant. Jamie has also demonstrated their entrepreneurial skills as the President/Owner of I'm Inspired, a company that facilitates workshops and consultations. Additionally, Jamie has served as the Chairman of the Board and Director at Halton Learning Foundation and has held managerial positions at B2B Trust, FirstOntario Credit Union, and RBC Financial Group. In their role at RBC, Jamie was involved in corporate strategy development and implementing a Balanced Scorecard.

Jamie Schumacker attended Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Marketing and Finance. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1986, Jamie attended Western University, although they did not complete their degree in Biology, General. They also obtained a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI (Project Management Institute) in February 1999.
