Poonam Kaler

Poonam Kaler has over 14 years of work experience in the financial industry. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Coast Capital Savings. Poonam then joined Freedom 55 Financial in 2006 as a Financial Security Advisor. In 2010, they moved to Qtrade Financial Group and took on various roles including Branch Compliance Manager, Compliance Officer, Senior Compliance Officer, and Director of Compliance. In 2018, they joined Aviso Wealth as a Director of Complaints, Audit, and Internal Investigations. In 2019, they transitioned to the position of Director of ERM, Complaints, and Audit, and in July 2020, they became the Director of Enterprise Risk Management.

Poonam Kaler earned a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Simon Fraser University in 2005. In 2021, they obtained a Risk Management Certificate from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. Additionally, they hold several certifications including Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Canadian Risk Management Designation (CRM), and Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
