Gareth Laffan

Gareth Laffan has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as Vice President Technical - Engineering & Asset Management at Avolon since March 2019. Prior roles at Avolon include Vice President Technical - Engineering & Technical Transitions Management and AVP Technical - Engineering and Technical Transitions Management. Previously, Gareth led the Airworthiness Control Centre at SAS Ireland and held various technical engineering roles at Aer Lingus, including Technical Services Engineer specializing in avionics. Gareth also has experience as a Maintenance Control Engineer Specialist and a Licensed Aircraft Engineer at SR Technics Group, Eirjet, and FLS Aerospace, starting as an Apprentice Aircraft Engineer. Gareth holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aviation Technology from Technological University Dublin.
