Julia Stark has over 20 years of work experience, starting from their role as a Project Intern at Millennium Pharmaceuticals in 2001. Julia then worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at American Medical Response in 2002. Julia moved on to become a Mechanical Engineer at Raytheon from 2004 to 2006 before joining ZOLL Medical as a Manufacturing Engineer in charge of New Product Introduction. During their time at ZOLL Medical, they led the Operations team in releasing two new defibrillators and reduced manufacturing costs by 30%.

In 2010, Julia became a Supply Chain Research Fellow at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, where they built an inventory and order forecasting model and developed a guide for improving Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning.

From 2011 to 2012, they served as a Supply Chain Manager at Philips, leading a team to reduce Finished Goods Inventory by $6 million and lead time by 25% in the CT and MRI business.

Julia continued to excel at Philips, taking up various roles such as Process and Supplier Quality Senior Manager, Interim Consent Decree Lead, and Director of Procurement from 2013 to 2019. During this time, they achieved significant improvements in supplier management, quality, and risk management.

In 2019, Julia joined Renovia Inc. as the Vice President of Product & Strategic Operations. Julia led a team of professionals to design and deliver patient-focused digital solutions, resulting in substantial improvements in patient symptom improvement and user engagement.

Currently, Julia is serving as the Vice President of Product & Strategic Operations at Axena Health since 2023.

Julia Stark pursued their education by completing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Michigan from 2000 to 2004, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Italian. Julia then furthered their studies at the MIT Sloan School of Management from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a combined MBA/MS degree in Business and Mechanical Engineering.
