Mallory Planck

Mallory Planck has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mallory began their career in 2009 as a Substitute Teacher for the Kettering School District. In 2009, they became a full-time Honors English 9 Teacher at Kettering City Schools, where they restructured the learning environment and taught units based on novels, writing, grammar, and discussion.

In 2010, Mallory joined Mr. Copy/A Xerox Company as a Document Technology Advisor, responsible for protecting the current customer base and growing the geographical territory through research, teleprospecting, and cold-calling. Mallory consistently ranked in the top 10 sales consultants during their tenure.

From 2012 to 2015, Mallory worked at Aerotek, starting as a Corporate Recruiter and eventually becoming an Account Recruiting Manager/Recruiter Lead. In these roles, they were responsible for initiating the hiring process, conducting interviews, and presenting qualified candidates to Aerotek's field offices. Mallory also specialized in technical staffing and recruiting within the architecture and engineering industries.

In 2015, Mallory joined Townsquare Interactive as a Recruiter Team Lead. Mallory was responsible for sourcing inside and outside sales candidates for various locations and markets. Over the years, they held different positions within the company, including Recruiting Manager, where they oversaw multiple recruiting teams and achieved the company's headcount goals through training, strategy, motivation, and production.

Most recently, Mallory has taken on the role of Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at Axios HQ, a Series A funded AI-powered software company. In this position, they plan, writes, and sends more effective updates to boost trust, transparency, and alignment within the organization.

Throughout their career, Mallory has demonstrated strong leadership and collaboration skills, working closely with executive leadership teams, sales heads, human resources, and recruiting managers to ensure alignment and achieve hiring strategies.

Mallory Planck attended Ohio University from 2005 to 2009 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, with a specialization in Integrated Language Arts.
