Jan Turner

Jan Turner has over 28 years of work experience in the biotechnology industry. Jan began their career in 1993 as a Development Scientist at Amersham Pharmacia Biotech. In 2000, they moved to Amersham Biosciences as a Project Manager, where they managed a global team of scientists and provided post-sales support to a global customer base worth more than $35M. In 2003, they joined GE Healthcare as a Product Management Operations Leader and Global Product Manager for Cell Therapy Technologies, where they were accountable for global sales and planning process for the CTT portfolio, managed global inventory and regional supply, and developed business cases to drive design changes, strategic product moves, and product improvement opportunities. In 2017, they became a Senior Product Manager at BBI Solutions. In 2019, they were appointed Director at Safer Medicines Trust. Currently, they are a Product Manager at Axol Bioscience Ltd.

Jan Turner completed a Post Doctoral Research in Genetic Toxicology at Swansea University from 1990 to 1993. Jan then completed a PhD in Genetic Toxicology at Swansea University. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc Hons in Biochemistry and Pharmacology from University of Leeds.
