Darrin Jones

Darrin Jones has extensive experience in the field of user experience and interaction design. Darrin has worked in various roles for multiple companies throughout their career.

Starting in 1999, Darrin worked as a User Interface Designer for HealthCentral.com, where they created engaging user experiences and graphics for healthcare websites.

In 2000, they became a Senior Designer at ITworld.com, where they were the sole UX/UI designer for tech journalism websites.

From 2001 to 2007, Darrin worked as an Interactive Designer for Various Agencies, creating UX and UI for a variety of clients, including Qualcomm and Verizon.

In 2007, they joined LPL Financial as a User Interface Designer.

From 2008 to 2010, they served as a Senior Interaction Architect at Mobeze Inc., leading UX and IA design for a female-centric online dating website, HerWay.com.

In 2010, they worked as a User Interaction Designer at Adicio Inc., collaborating with product management to redesign interactions for a job listing website.

From 2011 to 2016, Darrin served as a Sr. Usability Engineer at Navis and was responsible for usability improvement.

In 2016, Darrin joined SS&C Advent as a Senior User Experience Designer, providing research, user interface, and interaction design for various product teams.

Currently, Darrin is working at Axway as a Principal User Experience Architect, where they use their skills and expertise to enhance the user experience of their products.

Darrin Jones's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Fine Art from San Francisco State University in 1996. Darrin later pursued a Graduate Certificate in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) from Iowa State University in 2014. Additionally, they completed a Mobile UX/UI Design Intensive program from San Francisco State University in 2013. Darrin also attended UCSC Silicon Valley Extension in 2012 to study Usability Testing Documentation. More recently, in 2022, they enrolled in Product School to pursue Product Management education. Darrin has obtained various certifications, including a Product Manager Certificate from Product School in 2022, an Introduction to FinTech certification from The University of Hong Kong in 2018, and an Interaction Design certification from Cooper U Training in 2015.
