Nuala Boyle

Nuala Boyle has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and positions. Nuala is currently serving as the Head of Business Growth at Ayrshire College since October 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Heriot-Watt University from September 2015 to April 2019 as the Assistant Principal, Development. Nuala was responsible for creating a new development and alumni function, crafting an income generation strategy, and transforming alumni engagement on a global scale. Before that, they held roles at University of the Highlands and Islands as the Director of Development from June 2014 to August 2015 and as the Head of Development from March 2012 to June 2014. At the University of Strathclyde, they served as the Development Manager from December 2007 to March 2012, leading a successful capital campaign and securing significant donations. Nuala also worked as the Fundraising Manager at Visibility from June 2006 to December 2007, and as the Funding Manager at ITI Scotland from 2004 to 2006. Their extensive work experience began at Scottish Enterprise, where they served as the European Manager from July 1990 to May 2004.

Nuala Boyle began their education in 1984 at Glasgow Caledonian University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Commerce. Nuala completed their undergraduate studies in 1988. Later, in 1991, Nuala enrolled at the University of Strathclyde to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which they completed in 1994. Nuala's education history showcases their focus on business-related studies and their commitment to enhancing their academic qualifications in this field.
