Cecile Paquet Luzy

Head of Clinical Sciences at Azafaros

Cecile Paquet Luzy has a long and varied work experience in the field of clinical sciences. Cecile began their career in 2005 as a Clinical Research Scientist at Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd, where they were responsible for the development and delivery of key study documents, answering protocol related questions from Health Authorities and Ethic Committees, and being a member of the Submission team for the Marketing Authorization dossier for Zavesca in Niemann Pick Type C disease in EU. Cecile then moved on to F.Hoffmann - La Roche Ltd. in 2012, where they worked as a Clinical Science Specialist Neuroscience (Contractor). In this role, they contributed to the on-going scientific aggregate data review, scientific support to monitors and sites for protocol related questions, and was responsible for the preparation of assigned subjects for the adjudication process of brain magnetic resonance imaging scans for safety monitoring. In 2013, Cecile joined Novartis as a Clinical Scientist DF Ophtalmology, where they supported the medical lead with the development of program level documents and led the clinical trial protocol development for Phases 3 and 4 studies. Finally, in 2014, Cecile began their role at Roche as a Senior Clinical Scientist, Digital tool, Personalized Health Care Program and Clinical Scientist pRED Neuroscience Ophthalmology Rare Diseases. Currently, they are the Head of Clinical Sciences and Clinical Science Leader at AZAFAROS B.V.

Cecile Paquet Luzy received a Master in Biotechnology from University Montpellier in 2005, and a Maitrise in Biology and Physiology from Université Paris Cité between 1998 and 2004.
