Agil Heydarov

Agil Heydarov has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. Agil started their career in 2005 as a Document Controller at BP. In 2007, they worked as a Sales Manager at BisMak LTD for a short period, and then moved to Karmen LTD in 2008 for a year in the same role. In 2010, they joined the Ministry of Defence Industry as an Engineer before transitioning to Azerbaijan Airlines in the same year. At Azerbaijan Airlines, they served as a Flight Simulator Engineer until 2018. From 2016 onwards, they held various positions at the airline, including Quality Auditor, Deputy Director, Chief of Flight Simulator Training Section, and Director/Compliance Manager at the NAA Pilot Training Centre. Agil Heydarov's most recent role at Azerbaijan Airlines was as Director/Compliance Manager at the NAA Pilot Training Centre, starting in December 2022.

Agil Heydarov obtained a Master's degree in Engineering from the National Aviation Academy in Azerbaijan from 2001 to 2006. In addition to their degree, they have several certifications including Training Managers Course from JAA Training Organisation, Aviation Internal Auditor from IATA Training, EP-8000 and VS2200 LCoS Projectors Operation and Maintenance Course from Rockwell Collins, FSTD Qualification from CAA International (UK CAA), Initial Quality System from Azerbaijan Airlines, Helicopter Mi-171 Educational and Training complex equipment maintenance course from AVIA LTD, 767-2/300 EASA Part 66 Mechanical (B1) Course from Boeing, IR Part 147 Mechanical B1 from Boeing, Simulator Maintenance from Thales, and EP - 1000CT and VS 2000 Operation and Maintenance course from Rockwell Collins. The years in which they obtained these certifications range from 2010 to 2022.
