Mine Hifzi

Mine Hifzi serves as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Heathrow Airport since July 2022, providing expertise in legal, business assurance, risk management, and privacy while also being a member of the Board and Executive Committee. Prior to this, Mine held the position of General Counsel for UK and Ireland at Virgin Media from February 2014 to July 2022, focusing on legal, regulatory, and company secretarial matters and co-sponsoring an initiative for under-represented ethnic groups. Mine’s extensive experience includes senior roles at Scripps Networks Interactive, Discovery Communication, and Turner Broadcasting, with a strong background in international commercial and legal affairs, corporate governance, and strategic legal advice across multiple regions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from UCL obtained between 1984 and 1987.
