Sherry Martin is an Assistant Professor at Azim Premji University, teaching Research Methodology, Data Analytics, Statistics, and Statistical Programming to postgraduate students in the School of Development, while also instructing undergraduate Biology courses and mentoring student research projects. Previous experience includes serving as a Laboratory Consultant for the World Health Organization during a humanitarian crisis, and as a Research Associate at Christian Medical College and Hospital, where responsibilities included laboratory management and clinical trial documentation. Earlier roles entailed research at Vellore Institute of Technology, where Sherry investigated hepatotoxicity mechanisms, in addition to positions as Junior Research Fellow and Medical Lab Technologist at Christian Medical College and Hospital. Sherry holds a PhD in Biochemistry and an MSc in Biomedical Genetics from Vellore Institute of Technology, alongside a BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology from Christian Medical College, Vellore.
