Jonathan Ostrem

Jonathan Ostrem has extensive experience in the medical and research fields, primarily focused on oncology and biochemistry. At the University of California, San Francisco, from September 2007 to June 2016, Jonathan held several positions including Assistant Professor, Medical Student, Postdoctoral Scholar, and Graduate Student, contributing to the development of direct, mutant-specific inhibitors of the K-Ras oncogene under the guidance of Thesis Advisor Kevan Shokat, PhD. Following this, Jonathan served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and as a Medical Oncology Fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from July 2018 to June 2022. Prior experience includes a residency as a Physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital from June 2016 to June 2018. Jonathan holds an MD and a PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Biology, both from the University of California, San Francisco.
