Adam Romanek

Adam Romanek has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Adam is currently serving as the Head of OTC Platform Development at B2C2, where they started in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Python Engineer at the same company from July 2022 to November 2022.

From May 2017 to July 2022, Adam worked at Liberty Global as a Principal Python and AWS Engineer, DevOps. Adam was the Technical Leader of a small team, responsible for various tasks including analyzing requirements, designing software integrations, implementation, CI/CD, troubleshooting, security risk analysis, and more. Adam followed best practices like GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code and used a tech stack including AWS services, Linux, Python, Flask, Celery, and Jenkins.

Before Liberty Global, Adam worked at Fibar Group as a Cloud Services Architect and Lead Engineer from April 2015 to April 2017.

Their career started at Advanced Digital Broadcast (ADB) in September 2007, where they held multiple roles. Adam served as a Software Engineering Expert from July 2011 to March 2015, a Software Engineer from September 2007 to June 2011, and a Test Engineer (Trainee) from June 2007 to August 2007.

Adam Romanek received their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from Uniwersytet Zielonogórski, completing their studies from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the same university, graduating in 2009. Additionally, Adam Romanek holds an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), which they obtained in December 2021.
