Aido Cortés Alcaraz

Aido Cortés Alcaraz has extensive experience in various roles within the engineering and maintenance field. From 2004 to 2008, Aido worked as an Electromechanical at Zobele S.A. In 2010, Aido completed a Mechanical Design and Simulation Engineering Internship at Suñer, S.A. From 2011 to 2012, Aido served as the Technical Responsible at MOINPSA. Aido then joined Gonvauto Barcelona - Gonvarri Steel Industries, where they held the positions of Maintenance Engineer from 2012 to 2013 and Maintenance and Non-Steel Purchases Manager from 2013 to 2017. From 2017 to 2021, Aido worked at Hempel A/S, first as a Project Manager and then as a Maintenance Manager - Factory and Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Champion. In 2021, Aido joined Matías Gomá Tomás as a Maintenance Manager, before moving to NTC - Nuevas Técnicas de Coloración in 2022 as an Engineering Manager. Currently, Aido is the Head of Engineering at BAA Training, a position they started in 2023. Throughout their career, Aido has been involved in various tasks such as planning, budgeting, coordinating maintenance activities, designing and implementing new facilities, and improving productivity and efficiency.

Aido Cortés Alcaraz attended MIT Professional Education, where they studied Policy for Science, Technology and Innovation. Aido completed this program in 2023.

In the same year, they also studied Artificial Intelligence and Robotics and Industry 4.0 at Universidad Anáhuac Mayab.

From 2022 to 2023, Aido Cortés Alcaraz pursued a Quantum Engineering Postgraduate Degree at UPC School (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya).

Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Organization Engineering from UPC School (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) from 2012 to 2016.

Aido Cortés Alcaraz's educational journey began with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UPC School (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) from 2008 to 2011.

Aido also completed an associate degree in Production by Machining and Mechanical Manufacturing from INS Jaume Mimó in 2007 and 2006 respectively.
