Baldwin Richardson

Frederick Douglass Opie has extensive experience in academia, currently serving as a Professor of History at Babson College since 2010. Prior to this role, Opie was the Director of the African Diaspora Studies Program and Associate Professor of History at Marist College from 2003 to 2010. Additionally, Opie held the position of Assistant Professor of History at Morehouse College from 2000 to 2003 and served as Interim Dean at Gettysburg College in 1991-1992. Academic credentials include a PhD in History from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Syracuse University earned between 1983 and 1985.
