Pierre Augeard

Pierre Augeard has extensive experience in engineering and technology roles. Pierre is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Back Market since May 2022.

Before that, from September 2018 to March 2022, they served as the CTO at nfinite.

Prior to nfinite, Pierre worked at Illumination Mac Guff from April 2014 to July 2018 as the Lead R&D Engineer. Their responsibilities included leading the compositing pipeline, Python technical leadership, and various positions in other pipeline departments.

From May 2012 to April 2014, they were a Senior Production Engineer / Technical Architect at Mikros Animation, where they conducted architecture overhauls and optimizations, implemented workflow automation tools, and served as the pipeline architect and lead developer for the compositing department.

Pierre also served as the CTO at Herold & Family from April 2006 to May 2012, overseeing research and development and production pipeline engineering. Pierre supervised the production of two animated feature films and leveraged real-time technologies from game engines for final image rendering.

Their earlier experiences include working as an IT Consultant at Segula from September 2005 to April 2006, and as a Software Engineer Intern at Nadeo from July 2004 to December 2004.

Pierre Augeard first attended Lycée Champollion from 2000 to 2002, where they pursued "Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Ecoles" without specifying a specific field of study. Following this, Pierre then enrolled in Télécom Paris, where they completed their Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General from 2002 to 2005.
